
biography
Steve Corsello is a first-year M.Arch candidate at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation, and Planning interested in the relationships between the built environment, urban vulnerability, and life outcomes through the lens of architectural design. Before enrolling at the GSAPP, Steve worked in New York City as a product manager and consultant for AT&T’s digital media group and for a media tech startup, now part of Warner Bros., after graduating from Amherst College with a degree in economics. Outside of work and school, Steve sits on the board of, and leads development for, the Center for Community Alternatives, a non-profit group that has pioneered community-based alternatives to incarceration for at-risk youth and provides supportive services for families in crisis and men and women suffering from substance abuse disorder. He lives in Manhattan with his fiancée Alexandra who is a second year MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
